Network APIs Playground
Network APIs Playground offers a dynamic, interactive environment for testing and exploring CAMARA APIs. This API enables developers to prototype and validate various use cases in real-time, without impacting live systems. It provides mock up of all Network APIs following CAMARA standard.
In a nutshell
The playground is fully customizable to meet your own testing requirements. To simplify your experimentation, we designed one single API which helps you to both call all Orange Network APIs and manage your testing data-set.
The playground contains three groups of APIs:
- the core CAMARA APIs to simulate key system functionalities
- the Administration APIs for managing mock numbers and their associated information
- the Authentication APIs for testing end to end implementation
Moving from Playground to production :
Once testing is complete and all scenarios are validated, transitioning to a real application in production is straightforward.
Subscribe to production APIs and simply update your credentials and the API endpoints, and your code remains unchanged.

How does it work ?
The Network APIs Playground allows you to simulate calls to the CAMARA APIs. To do this, a database is created that contains up to 4 mock phone numbers per application.
The Admin API enables you to create/read/update/delete the phone numbers stored in this database. Each number includes its status (reachability, roaming), associated KYC information, and location details.
Once your numbers are created, you can implement calls to the CAMARA APIs in your application following the same specifications as the real CAMARA APIs, including the Authentication calls.
