KYC Tenure
The "Know Your Customer Tenure Light" API checks whether the lifetime tenure of a given phone number exceeds the date provided by the customer.
NETWORK API SERVICE SPECIFIC TERMS - KYC Tenure
Article 1 - FOREWORD
To use the Network API Service, you must fully agree to these Specific Terms, which incorporate the General Terms by reference. In case of discrepancies, these Specific Terms take precedence.
Article 2 - DEFINITIONS
- "End User Data": Data listed in Appendix A, which may be provided to you and your Business Customer under these Terms. Only validated data on the form by Orange should be submitted.
- "MSISDN": The mobile phone number of the End User with an Orange subscription.
- "Orange Account Holder": The End User with a non-professional Orange subscription for personal use, including:
- Mobile Orange subscriptions
- Bundle subscriptions (Mobile + Internet)
- Internet subscriptions
Article 3 - RELIABILITY OF SHARED INFORMATION ON END USERS
The End User Data transmitted is declared by the Orange Account Holder. Orange does not guarantee the accuracy of this data.
Article 4 - YOUR ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To qualify for the Network API Service, you must meet these conditions:
- No suspension or termination of the Terms in the past year due to breach.
- All amounts owed to Orange are paid.
- No attempt of fraud against Orange.
- Compliance with Orange Group’s ethical and compliance policies, especially regarding anti-corruption, money laundering, and sanctions.
If these conditions are no longer met, Orange may terminate the Terms as per Section 13 of the General Terms.
Article 5 - TARIFF CONDITIONS
The rates are specified in Appendix C:
- Price per call: €0.04 (excluding taxes).
Unpaid amounts accrue interest at ECB rate + 10%, divided by 26, starting the day after the payment deadline. A flat recovery fee of €40 applies for late payments, starting from the first day of delay.
You have one month from the invoice date to contest it; beyond this, the invoice is final. Orange may offset unpaid amounts against amounts owed to you.

2. Specific Conditions for KYC Tenure Service
- Objective: Verify the length of tenure of a user associated with a phone number, establishing trust in the mobile identity.
- Implementation: No prior consent from End User is required if the legitimate interest is demonstrated and documented.
- Data Provided:
tenureDateCheck: true if the number has valid tenure sincetenureDate, otherwise false.
- Use and Retention:
- End User Data cannot be retained by you unless explicitly agreed.
- You may retain transfer-related information for record-keeping and audits.
